Yep, this is happening -

The first ever SPONSURF Foamy Only Surf Competition is taking place at the Lost Cove Festival. We have hooked up with the Californian legends Catch Surf to put the fun back in to surfing on this weekend extravaganza. Feel free to select one of the Catch Surf latest 2017 models or ride your own foamy. The competition is open to anyone over the age of 16. This competition will be judged on style and whatever weird and funky moves you can think of meaning everyone has a chance of taking home gold.

Fancy Dress

Either go it alone or enter as a team - it's time to dive into that fancy dress box and pull out some beer coated costumes. We are looking for maximum effort and in return you could win prizes and also win extra points towards your university surf club ranking in the competition!

Grab your mates and get your thinking hats on. You can enter your group (max size of 4) in to the group fancy dress comp. The difference between individual and group fancy dress is that we are looking for group themes. To give you some food for thought: Spice Girls,Toy Story soldiers, YMCA etc.

Anyone entering this fancy dress competition must also be competing.

Hell yeh, you heard right - there are prizes. Who says competitions need to be serious to win stuff anyway?

If you would like to compete you will need to register your interest. We do not want last minute drop outs so if you think that you may be too hungover or might be pulling in a tent all day Saturday then think twice. Otherwise, get involved and keep an eye out for more information in the run up to the event.

If you would like to help we are looking for competition judges, beach marshalls, maths people and general people. In return for your help during the day you will get a free ticket to the festival, lunch and a well deserved beer at the end of the day. You will need to enter your details and will be contacted if you are chosen by the Lost Cove team.
